Job description
Responsibilities:
  1. Operate machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
  2. Monitor production processes, including machine operation, assembly lines, and quality control checks, to ensure product specifications are met.
  3. Assemble components or parts to manufacture finished products, following assembly instructions and blueprints.
  4. Inspect finished products for defects, such as missing parts, incorrect assembly, or damage, and report any issues to supervisors.
  5. Package finished products according to specifications, including labeling, sealing, and palletizing for shipment.
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, including cleaning machinery, sweeping floors, and disposing of waste materials.
  7. Assist with inventory management by counting and recording stock levels, preparing materials for production, and replenishing supplies as needed.
  8. Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  9. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot problems, implement solutions, and improve production efficiency.
  10. Adhere to company policies and regulations, including attendance, punctuality, and conduct standards.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
  2. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English (or the relevant language used in the workplace).
  3. Basic mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity to operate machinery and hand tools safely and effectively.
  4. Physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
  5. Attention to detail and accuracy in performing quality checks and inspecting finished products.
  6. Team player mentality with good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime, as required by production schedules.
  8. Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
  9. High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
  10. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as needed in a dynamic production environment.
